News from the Integrated Consortium on Ticks and Tick-borne Diseases and General Announcements

  • The Seventh TTP, Ticks and Tick-Borne Pathogens Conference, will be celebrated in Zaragoza (Spain) from August 28th to September 3rd, 2011. The Conference is aimed at integration and our main theme is "QUESTING TOGETHER: SYSTEMATICS, EPIDEMIOLOGY, GENETICS AND MOLECULAR BIOLOGY RESEARCH ON TICKS AND TICK-BORNE PATHOGENS INTEGRATED AS ONE". As usual, the Conference will cover every aspect concerning the morphology, systematics, epidemiology, diagnostic and treatment of ticks and tick-borne diseases.
  • The Seventh TTP will introduce also the "Jane B. Walker Award" to the most outstanding integrative presentation, a recognition intended to keep alive the memory of our colleague, and also to recognize integrative efforts in the world of ticks and associated pathogens.
  • This is is the first announcement to invite you to visit our web page and to begin to arrange your plans to attend that exciting event. We are working in the preparation of an interesting scientific program and on a social program which bring you all the Mediterranean hospitality. Let's share science, and let's share friendship.
